LISA DAUPHIN

The igredients of my childhood were: acrobatics, music, nature, love. I started gymnastic at the age of 6, playing the piano at the age of 7 and drawing I do not remember when. I spent my summers in my grand parent's farm in Airolo. I was sourrounded by a loving family and friends, for whom I will never be thankful enough.

While completing my bachelor degree in anthropology and biology at the University of Neuchatel (Switzerland), I started teaching music and felt a strong need to work more with people. I explored social work, education and volunteering. In parallel I was reading some pedagogy books and I fell in love with Rudolf Steiner's approach. I decided to follow the Waldorf teaching training program starting in San Francisco (California).

I have been teaching then in Steiner-Waldorf Schools and giving private lessons of different kinds including: music, languages and pedagogical support.

I integrate art, music and movement constantly and never end to discover their great power.

My goal is to brig's others' passion and creative potential out. Infact teaching is about creating, it is an endless creative process. Children are our first teachers, and just by being there they give us the keys to invent beautiful lessons, material, acrivities, stories.

I strongly belive that multidisciplinary knowledge is fundamental in finding inspiration to create. This is the reason why I continue to learn about psychology, health, history, education, spirituality and others subjects through trainings and in an autodidactic way.
